This generally undiscovered area of France provides a wide variety of challenging rides for the keen road cyclist and offers some of the best cycling in europe.

We will tailor your days cycling from one of our well researched routes based on your fitness and experince - all abilities can be catered for and no-one is ever left behind. Three days a week you can opt to join a free guided day out, no need to take a map or think about where you are going, just enjoy the ride. Our cycling holidays are ideally suited for keen road cyclists, but we can also cater for cyclists who are new to cycling, or for those who want to combine cycling with some of the many other activities available in the region.

At the end of your day's cycling you can clean down and service your bike in out tailor made bike workshop before sitting on the terrace with a cup tea and fresh homemade cake. Later, after relaxation by the pool or in a hammock by the side of our private fishing lake you will enjoy a four course evening meal with wine and coffee.

Our new stone barn conversion and chestnut clad extension provide stylish accommodation for up to 11 people, with all rooms having en suite facilities. We have completed our own two year 'Grand Design', and after a very successful first season, we have been awarded the 2012 'Coup de Coeur' award for enterprise in tourism, by the Correze General Council, headed by Francoise Hollande.

Outside of 'poolside season', the large sitting room with log burner and vaulted ceiling revealing the original timbers is a comfy place to gather for pre dinner drinks and to discuss the days cycling

For non cyclists, our 2 hectares of grounds with stunning pool area provide a calm haven for total relaxation. There are secluded seating areas and hammocks around the lake and gardens, ideal for reading, painting or fishing.

Corrèze is a natural paradise for many other outdoor activities including Kayaking, Walking, Open water swimming, Horse riding, Mountain biking, Climbing and Sailing as well as having many tourist attractions to visit. Most of these activities available no more than 30 minutes from Chateauret. We are confident that you will fall in love this little known region of france!
